Synthetic Yellows
Hoover Color’s SYN-OX® Yellow Iron Oxides are synthetic Yellow Iron Oxides, which can range in color from a brownish yellow to a mid goldenrod yellow. As with all Iron Oxide Pigments, SYN-OX® Yellow Iron Oxides are permanent and lightfast. They possess limited heat stability, but show excellent chemical resistance. SYN-OX® Yellow Iron Oxides produce coatings with high opacity. Hoover Color offers a variety of four standard SYN-OX® Yellow Iron Oxides.

Construction Grades
These products are not ground to the fineness of our “General Use” Grades. While they still exhibit the same coloring and physical properties of other grades, these products may require more processing in order to thoroughly mix or disperse them.
- HY-650 SYN-OX® “Fools Gold”
- A medium shade yellow with greenish undertones excellent for cement and building product applications.
