Synthetic Reds
Hoover Color’s SYN-OX® Red Iron Oxides are synthetic Red Iron Oxides which range in color from a medium reddish brown to a deep crimson red. As with all Iron Oxide Pigments, SYN-OX® Red Iron Oxides are permanent and light fast. They possess excellent heat stability and chemical resistance. SYN-OX® Red Iron Oxides produce coatings with high opacity. Hoover Color offers a variety of thirteen standard SYN-OX® Red Iron Oxides.

Construction Grades
These products are not ground to the fineness of our “General Use” Grades. While they still exhibit the same coloring and physical properties of other grades, these products may require more processing in order to thoroughly mix or disperse them.
HR-1300 SYN-OX® “Cayenne”- Light red shade with a golden undertone excellent for cement and building product applications.
HR-1302 SYN-OX® “Brick”- Medium red shade with an orange undertone excellent for cement and building product applications.
HR-1303 SYN-OX® “Tile”- Medium red shade with a violet undertone excellent for cement and building product applications.
HR-1306 SYN-OX®- Medium red shade with a blue undertone excellent for cement and building product applications.
HR-1308 SYN-OX® “Plum Wild”- Medium violet shade with a gray undertone excellent for cement and building product applications.
