SYN-OX® Black Iron Oxides
Hoover Color’s SYN-OX Black Iron Oxides are synthetic Black Iron Oxides, which can range in color from a mild charcoal to a deep carbon black. As with all Iron Oxide Pigments, SYN-OX Black Iron Oxides are permanent and light fast. They possess limited heat stability, but show excellent chemical heat resistance. Hoover Color offers two standard SYN-OX Iron Oxides.

Construction Grades
These products are not ground to the fineness of our “General Use” Grades. While they still exhibit the same coloring and physical properties of other grades, these products may require more processing in order to thoroughly mix or disperse them.
SYN-OX® HB-1034 “Charcoal”- A high strength, economic grade medium charcoal black especially for cement and building product application.
