772BNBlended Brown Iron Oxides are created in a full range of browns by combining both natural and synthetic iron oxides. 778BN StainVan Dyke Browns are used extensively in the stain industry. Imported Van Dyke Brown from Germany is available, along with a well-established substitute, 778BN Brown. The substitute has better dispersion characteristics and color consistency than the real Van Dyke. Hoover Color Corporation has recently introduced a water soluble extract derived from Van Dyke Brown: our 925 Brown. This new material should help stain manufacturers develop better water-based stains in order to deal with tighter environmental regulations.
