Blacks
HB-1033TSYN-OX® Black Iron Oxides range in color from a mild charcoal to a deep carbon black. As with all Iron Oxide Pigments, Synthetic Black Iron Oxides are permanent and light fast. They possess limited heat stability, but show excellent chemical heat resistance. However, we do offer a Black Iron Oxide, 1033T, which has been modified with managanese in order to improve the material’s heat stability. The 1033T is used extensively in high heat coatings such as grill paint.
Bone Black #6Bone Blacks are calcium phosphates derived from ground bone charcoal. They exhibit a jet black masstone color and have good heat stability and water-system compatibility.
