Hoover Color’s SYN-OX Yellow Iron Oxides are synthetic Yellow Iron Oxides, which can range in color from a brownish yellow to a mid goldenrod yellow. As with all Iron Oxide Pigments, SYN-OX Yellow Iron Oxides are permanent and lightfast. They possess limited heat stability, but show excellent chemical resistance. Hoover Color offers a variety of four standard SYN-OX Yellow Iron Oxides.

General Use Grades - These products can be used in any application that meets with the physical limitations outlined above.

HY-630M Yellow Iron Oxide

HT-1000 Zinc Ferrite Yellow

Lightest Shade with greenish undertone.

Darkest Shade with a reddish undertone.

Construction Grades - These products are not ground to the fineness of our “General Use” Grades.  While they still exhibit the same coloring & physical properties of other grades, these products may require more processing in order to thoroughly mix or disperse them.

HY-650 Yellow Iron Oxide “Fool’s Gold” - A medium shade yellow with greenish undertones excellent for cement and building product applications. (see color)
