Hoover Color’s SYN-OX Red Iron Oxides are synthetic Red Iron Oxides which range in color from a medium reddish brown to a deep crimson red. As with all Iron Oxide Pigments, SYN-OX Red Iron Oxides are permanent and light fast. They possess excellent heat stability and chemical resistance. Hoover Color Offers a variety of thirteen standard SYN-OX Red Iron Oxides.

General Use Grades - These products can be used in any application that meet with the physical limitations outlined above.

Construction Grades - These products are not ground to the fineness of our “General Use” Grades.  While they still exhibit the same coloring & physical properties of other grades, these products may require more processing in order to thoroughly mix or disperse them.

HR-1300 Red Iron Oxide “Cayenne”- Light red shade with a golden undertone excellent for cement and building product applications. (see color)

HR-1302 Red Iron Oxide “Brick”- Medium red shade with an orange undertone excellent for cement and building product applications. (see color)

HR-1303 Red Iron Oxide “Tile” - Medium red shade with a violet undertone excellent for cement and building product applications. (see color)

HR-1306 Red Iron Oxide - Medium red shade with a blue undertone excellent for cement and building product applications.

HR-1308 Red Iron Oxide “Plum Wild” -Medium violet shade with a gray undertone excellent for cement and building product applications. (see color)
