Hoover Color’s Carbon Black is made from natural and synthetic metal oxides which are colored a rich carbon black. Carbon Blacks possess the greatest coloring properties, but in cement applications may fade in outdoor use due to weathering. As with all Carbon Blacks, sealing and periodic resealing can help to minimize fading and to ensure chemical resistance. Hoover Color offers two standard Carbon Blacks.
